Rexel R1150 - Strip Foam / Fabric Cutting Scissors

To meet customer needs, the Rexel R1150 band saw was developed with the capacity to cut foam furniture up to 500 mm in height. It delivers fast, precise cutting of upholstery foam and textiles (cotton, knitwear, synthetics, insulation, etc.) up to 300 mm thick—and foam insulation up to 500 mm. Actual layer thickness depends on the material.

The saw is controlled via an intuitive touch screen and features an integrated grinding unit for high‑quality blade conditioning with minimal wear. Smooth, variable band‑speed control lets you dial in the perfect feed rate for any material.

Multiple safety interlocks prevent operation if the dust container is open or blade tension is insufficient, and a dedicated microswitch stops the machine instantly upon blade breakage. A mechanical blade catcher locks a broken blade to prevent uncontrolled drop, and an airbag assists with moving large workpieces on the table. Optional dust extraction keeps the work area clean, and an accessory gauge provides accurate depth‑of‑cut measurements.
