Heavy Wire
This is the thickest type of staple and is required when the job demands a robust staple. Due to its thickness, it covers a more significant area when used compared to fine and medium wires. It provides higher holding power and is excellent for assembly on wood or plastic on thick surfaces.

Wide Crown
Of all crown widths, this is the widest type. Wide crown staples have many similar applications as medium crown staples. When aesthetics are not as critical, a wide crown is a good choice as it covers a larger area than narrow and medium crowns. Josef Kihlberg's wide crown staples are designed for carton closing.
