What is the difference between SIGA interior and exterior sealing materials?

Interior materials (e.g. SIGA Rissan, Sicrall, Majpell, Majrex) create an airtight vapour control layer on the warm side. Exterior materials (e.g. SIGA Wigluv, Majcoat) protect the structure from wind and moisture while allowing moisture to escape.

Which SIGA membrane should I choose?

Vapour control membranes (SIGA Majpell, Majrex) are installed on the inside, windproof breathable membranes (SIGA Majcoat) on the outside, and the SIGA Majvest facade membrane is designed for open facades. When choosing, consider the type of structure and the required Sd value.

How do I seal pipe and cable penetrations?

SIGA Fentrim sealing collars are used for penetrations through membranes. White collars are for interior use, black ones for exterior use. Choose the collar according to the pipe or cable diameter.
